So I ran my first 5K race two weeks ago and it felt great! The only problem was that I was so excited I started out at a faster pace than I normally run and by the end of the race I felt like I had been drinking all night! I know that sounds funny but the last KM was really hard to run!
I did it though and I am proud of myself. I want to do a bike race next as I love to bike ride and I just got a new bike for Mother's Day (which I love) - thanks Dad and kiddies!
